SimuRail - Conduct simulators

SimuRail is a hardware and software solution dedicated to railway companies, and is able to offer train driver training courses in such areas as:
- driving and operations on board the train
- service missions

The train driving module offers drivers the opportunity to:
- familiarize themselves with the cockpit equipment and diagnostic systems
- familiarize themselves with signaling on the line
- learn to drive trains with different weather conditions of visibility and adhesion, including anomalous and emergency situations
- familiarize themselves with the electrical and pneumatic system of the train 

The service missions module includes several features, such as:
- driving a train on an existing railway line reproduced with a high degree of realism using three-dimensional CAD
- managing communications between driver and movement manager or between driver and DCO
- driving sessions aimed at ensuring maximum comfort for passengers
- driving sessions aimed at saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions
- driving sessions aimed at the best use of the train and all its components: electrical, hydraulic and mechanical

SimuRail includes driver desk replica and instructor console. The driving desk includes hardware used on the simulated train, such as pressure gauges, indicators, lights, buttons, brake knob, traction knob, CAB RADIO, SCMT (or ERTMS). It also features a large format screen that reproduces the visual front that has the driver, a stereophonic system to reproduce the various noises, and a touch screen panel that simulates all the switches placed behind the driver.

The instructor console allows full control of the simulation, including a CCTV view of the student on the simulator, and train-to-ground communications. This is so the instructor can communicate with the student while driving the train, simulating the movement manager or the DCO. It also allows the instructor to simulate scenarios, such as train breakdowns and line signaling degradations. 

In the simulated line, it will be possible to observe other trains in motion and, since SimuRail can be integrated with SimAcei, the driver will be able to participate in an integrated training session with other drivers and movement managers.

SimuRail offers sophisticated management of the entire train and line signaling in both normal and degraded conditions. This allows the instructor to prepare infinite scenarios by simulating unusual or emergency situations. All of this represents a particularly innovative aspect of the training system and helps immerse students in situations that would be difficult to recreate in reality.
